“DRY-STONE WALLING AND STONE MASONRY, AN ART ON THE BRINK OF EXTINCTION. MENORCA, DRY STONE LANDSCAPE, AN ENDANGERED INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY”
Anna Lofi is a graduate in Multimedia Communication from Rovira i Virgili University and in Photojournalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She collaborates as a photojournalist with several NGOs. She has received the Clic Young Photojournalists Grant and is the winner of the 20th Young Photographers of Catalonia Award with the project that we are presenting this Biennial.
Her work encompasses the local land, nature and tradition, while also highlighting the art of dry stone walling, introducing the public to this ancestral technique that was included in 2018 by UNESCO in its Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
