“Ecosystem (19+1). Photography at the limits”

After twenty years of compulsively photographing the world, Samuel Aranda has used this exhibition to create a space to reflect on everything that he has experienced, conscious of having often been at the limits of our ecosystem. Aranda has used photography to document conflicts, migrations and social issues across the world, and especially in the Middle East and Africa, for example, the so-called Arab Spring, the refugee crisis, the Ebola outbreak, and the economic crisis in Spain…

“At the limits, you experience and feel the extreme, you’re a witness to the worst and to the best of humanity. One never returns from the limits the same as before.”
