In this new edition, we are offering an exciting photographic voyage through five highly representative exhibits along the lines that have characterised the Biennal since its beginnings.
Nearly a year after the death of Leopoldo Pomés, we will discover new ways to read the overflowing creativity of his work. Cristina García Rodero will guide us through life’s emotions expressed through excellent composition and undoubted mastery. Pere Palahí will show us the historical and emotional strength of his images in an environment that that was still unaware of the scope of the devastating war that was about to explode. We’ll go back to 1967 to be there for Josep Pla’s seventieth birthday through the reporting by his friend Eugeni Forcano. The people of Palafrugell will take to the streets and squares in the town centre under the curious gaze of Lluís Català.
